In a separate letter to the Chief Secretary of J&K Government on June 2, the Home Ministry had highlighted the "security risks posed by some of those Rohingya/foreigners who entered India illegally and were involved in illegal activities such a fraudulent procurement and/or fabrication of Indian identity cards - PAN, voter IDs etc - money laundering, crimes and other anti-national activities," a report from New Delhi had on June 4 said. The letter, according to the report, also said that "some of the Rohingyas are also vulnerable to radicalization". Now that the Prime Minister is fully aware of the stand of Jammu on the Rohingyas, it is hoped that the Government of India would appreciate it and deport Rohingyas from Jammu. |
