Jammu, June 6: Yograj Singh Slathia State Joint Secretary, today urged upon ReTs, SSA and RMSA teachers for mass participations of in a programme re-scheduled on June 9.
According to press release, Slathia said that the Central leadership of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum has decided to hold peaceful protest demonstrations at all the district headquarters on 9-6-2018 to press for their demand of delinking of SSA salary from Central Budget to State Secretary in order to regularize the posts as well as salaries of SSA Teachers and Head-Teachers who are facing mental trauma and starvation. "At Jammu, the protest demonstration will be held at Press Club Jammu at 10 a.m on 9th of June 2018 in which all the teaching fraternity including RET's RRET's , Head-Teachers and General Teachers are requested to participate in mass to show their solidarity with the sufferings sections of the teaching community", he said. He further said that after the culmination of protest demonstration, a memorandum containing the demands will be submitted to the worthy Deputy Commissioner Jammu for onward submission to Chief Minister J&K State for her personal intervention into the matter so that this human issue is resolved once for all. The meeting was attended by Gopal Singh, Soorat Singh Toofani, Yog Raj Salathia, Rajinder Gupta, Ravinder Singh, Darshan Sharma, Kuldeep Bandral, Susheel Sharma, Shanti Saroop, Parveen Sharma, P.D. Singh, Goutam Singh, Daleep Dingra and others. |
