| Youth killed during clahes in Anantnag | | |
Anantnag, June 16: A youth was killed during clashes that erupted in South Kashmir's Anantnag district after Eid Prayers.
Reports said that a group of youth attacked camps of security forces in the town following which police and paramilitary CRPF resorted to tear smoke shelling and used pellet guns yo disperse the protesters.
During the clashes dozens sustained injuries. One among the injured Sheraz Ahmad Naikoo (18) of Brakpora succumbed to injuries at Janglat Mandi hospital where he was taken along with other injured.
Medical Superintendent (MS), District hospital Anantnag, Dr Majeed Mahrib, confirmed the death and said that he had multiple injuries. |
