Wrestler Kulbeer lifts Jai Datti Peer Dangal Title

Reasi, June 29: Annual Dangal was organized at Jai Datti Peer Brick Klin Doongi in Laiter Panchyat of Tehsil Pouni District Reasi.
As per press statement issued here, the event was held under the overall supervision of Sanjeev Kumar Sharma wrestling promoter and Titru Ram M/S Jai Datti Peer Brick Klin Doongi who sponsored the whole expenditures incurred on the event.
Wrestler Kulbeer Singh of Kot Bhalwal disciple of Raj Hussein Akhara Domana overpowered wrestler Dilear Khan of Akhara Shalamar jammu in a tough bout that lasted for fifteen minutes. Winner wrestler Kulbeer was given Rs 4100 while runner-up wrestler Dilear khan given Rs 2000 by the organizing committee.
Second main bout was won by wrestler Yudhveer of Haryana who overpowered wrestler Sanjay of Pargwal. Winner wrestler Yudhveer awarded Rs3100 while runner-up wrestler Sanjay given Rs2000.Third main bout was won by wrestler Yudhveer who defeated wrestler Dalbeer Singh of Dadabhagan Reasi District.
The members of the technical committee who helped in the smooth conduct of dangal included Rashpal Sharma Vice President Jammu Kashmir wrestling Association, Vetran Wrestler Baj Singh, Dwarka Nath, Mohan Lal and Sanjeev Kumar Sharma (Refree) who also enthralled the gathering with his Dogrii poetry on the subject of wrestling beside inviting the young generation to take part in the physical sports of wrestling.
Sixty five wrestling bouts were played among the wrestlers hailing from different corners of the state including wrestlers of Punjab, Haryana and Jammu Kashmir central wrestling team.
Titru Ram,the main organizer and sponsor of the dangal was felicitated with the Honorary post of Chairman District Reasi wrestling Association by the representatives of Jammu Kashmir wrestling Association for his constant contributions in the field of wrestling.
