Wave cinemas 'loot' customers | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 29: The management of Wave cinemas in Wave Mall is allegedly not following the rules framed and are allegedly looting the customers by charging same rates for all the rows in the cinema halls. "Screen shots of online movie tickets captured are speaking evidence against the management of Wave cinemas for not following the rules", said sources adding that the Wave cinemas charge Rs 250 per person for executive, premium and classic categories. As per online move ticket booking, first four rows have been designated in executive category and further ten rows have been categorized under premium category while the rest of the rows have been designated as classic and the authorities is charging Rs 250 per person for all the categories for sitting arrangements in the cinemas. The rules stated that the first two rows of seats from the screen shall be earmarked and provided at a lower rate of admission than the seats behind in all the multiplexes(cineplexes). However, the management of Wave cinemas is hell bent to "loot" their customers by charging same amount for all the rows. A local found of movies alleged that whenever we inquire from the authorities about the irregularities, the authorities used to harass them on different pretext. |
