SAMBA, June 29: District Police Samba under the supervision of Anil Magotra, SSP Samba seized 70 bags of FCI rice along with accused. On reliable information regarding black-marketing of Govt ration, a Police Party of PS Ramgarh headed by Inspector Vikas Dogra, SHO Ramgarh under the close supervision of S. Baljeet Singh, SDPO Vijaypur immediately swung into action and intercepted a Tata Mobile vehicle bearing Regd No JK02BF-5229 at Bandral, Ramgarh which was on its way towards Jammu via Vijaypur. During checking of the said vehicle, 70 Rice bags of FCI Govt Depot each weighing 50 kg were recovered from the vehicle. The accused driver Lal Singh S/o Rattan Singh R/o Domail, Udhampur was arrested on the spot and all the rice bags were also seized. In this regard, a case FIR No 43/2018 U/S 3/7 Essential Commodities Act, 207/MV Act stands registered at P/S Ramgarh and investigation started. |
