Arrangements for Kabir Jayanti celebration finalised

UDHAMPUR, June 29: For smooth conduct of 620th "Parkash Utsav" of Saint Kabir Sahib at district, tehsil and block levels, necessary arrangements were finalised under the Chairmanship of Chairman Sadguru Kabir Sabha, Udhampur, Ved Parkash at Udhampur here today. Threadbare discussion were held with regard to various necessary arrangements for the ensuing Kabir Jyanti celebration which include maintain law and order during procession, decoration of procession, announcement of dates for celebration of Kabir Jayanti at tehsil and block levels. Briefing about the various arrangements already put in place by the Kabir Sabha for the successful conduct of Kabir Jayanti, the Chairman Kabir Sabha Udhampur, Ved Parkash said that Sadguru Kabir Sabha(SGKS) Udhampur is going to celebrate 620th "Parkash Utsav" of Saint Kabir Sahib on July 01, 2018 at Kabir Bhawan, Baryal near Air Force Station in Udhampur. He further said that Kabir Sabha Udhampur would also celebrate "Parkash Utsav" of Saint Kabir Sahib at tehsil and block level in the district on different dates including village Panjgrainyi on July 05, 2018 and village Kulwanta on July 08, 2018 in tehsil Ramnagar, Tehsil Majlata on July 13, 2018 and village Mali in Panchari Block on July 22, 2018 besides Kabir Sabha Udhampur also celebrate in Bhagta( Katra) on July 15, 2018 respectively. Chairman of the Sabha informed that a Shobha Yatra will be taken out on the occasion which will start from Kabir Bhawan Baryal at 8.00 AM sharp comprising various Jhankis. The procession will move through Venus Chowk, Salan Talab, Chabutra Bazaar, Dabar Chowk, Mukharjee Bazaar, Ramnagar Chowk, Slathia Chowk , Dhar Road, Kallar, Industrial Estate and finally culminate at Kabir Bhawan, Baryal, where rich tributes will be paid to the Great Spiritual Saint. Later, President of the Sabha, Ram Lal also informed that Sabha is going to honour the meritorious students who excel in academic and professional examination.
He appealed to all the followers of Saint Kabir to reach at Kabir Bhawan Baryal Udhampur for mass participation so that the Parkash Utsav of Saint Kabir Sahib may be celebrated with great fervour and enthusiasm .
