Alleged dispute in J&K Bank Officers' Association | Court restrains defendants to convene any meeting | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 29: In a suit filed by Suresh Gupta President and Sanjay Sharma Treasure of J&K Bank Officer Association seeking direction to non applicants/defendants restraining them from creating a parallel body of Jammu and Kashmir Officers Association and also restraining Sunil Bhau from acting as Incharge General Secretary, Jammu Kashmir Bank Officers Association. Sub-Registrar Jammu Swati Gupta after hearing Adv Abhinav Sharma with Adv Vikas Sharma appearing for the plantiff observed that this Court has gone through the material annexed in support of the plaint. At this stage, it appears that plaintiffs/applicants have been able to make out a prima facie case in their favour and balance of convenience also tilts in their favour and in case interim injunction as prayed for, is not granted at this stage, in that eventuality plaintiffs/ applicants are likely to suffer irreparable loss and injury which cannot be compensated later on and ordered that the defendants shall not convene any meeting parallel to that of the plaintiff association, which is without authority under law, till the next date of hearing. |
