ReT Forum demands implementation of 7th Pay Commission, ors | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July1: A monthly meeting of J&K ReT Teachers' Forum held at Udhampur under the chairmanship of State President Vinod Sharma and District President Lekh Raj Parihar which was attended by delegates of Forum from all the eleven zones of the district. While speaking on the occasion, Vinod Sharma while highlighting the burning issue of SSA teachers and masters demanded the implementation of 7th Pay Commission in favour of these teachers as benefit of 6th pay commission has already been given to them and delaying the benefit of 7th Pay Commission has put the SSA teachers and masters in mental trauma. He also demanded the delinking of SSA salary from the source of funding (MHRD) to state budget so that permanent solution of the salaries of these Teachers is found and families of more than forty thousand teachers may not suffer any more. He also demanded the release SSA Salary for the month of February 2018 which has been kept pending instead salary for the months of March, April and May has been released ( without 7th Pay Commission) which is harassment of these teachers. He appealed the Governor, Advisors, Worthy Chief Secretary, Worthy Principal Secretary Finance and Worthy Secretary School Education to resolve these issues of SSA Teachers and masters including implementation of 7th Pay Commission and delinking of SSA salary so that thousands of teachers and their families have sigh of relief. Others who also spoke on the occasion were Sukhdev Singh Sumbria, Sukesh Khajuria , Pritam Goswami, Sunil Salaria, Sandeep Sharma, Sushil Singh, Anil Sharma, Vipin Sharma, Sahil Sambyal, Sham Singh, Som Raj , Vinod Kumar , Ashok Kumar, and others. |
