Khour, July 1: Bhagat baradari today celebrated Kabir Jayanti at Khour wherein scores of devotees take part in the celebration while bright students of the biradri were also felicitated.
In a simple but impressive function, devotees from different parts of the area take part in the function and trophies were also distributed to students to the biradari who excel in 8th, 10th and 12.
Jagdish Bhagat, District President SC while speaking on the occasion said that the objective of today's celebration was to send a message of Sadguru Kabir Maharaj's philosophy based on humanity and welfare of all mankind irrespective of any religion, caste or creed.
Prominent personalities of the Bhagat Samaj, who were part of the celebration included retd ZEO-Babu Ram, retd SDM-Dhian Singh, Postmaster-Om Parkash, SO Planning- Dr Parshotam, SHO Khour-Joginder Singh Chib. |
