| Younger brother allegedly kills elder | | | Jammu, July 16 : A youth was killed when he had a scuffle with his reportedly minor brother over a petty issue in Bishnah area, this afternoon.
Police sources said that at 13:45 hours, verbal arguments started between two brothers at village Harsa Dabber falling under the jurisdiction of Bishnah police station.
Police sources said that the verbal arguments turned into scuffle following which the younger brother attacked his elder brother namely Lalit Kumar (20) son of Amar Nath of Harssa Dabbar with a kitchen knife resulting death of his brother.
"Deepak Kumar who is younger brother of deceased attacked his elder brother with a kitchen knife resulting rupturing of organ", said a police officer adding that soon after attacking his elder brother, Deepak took him to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bishnah where he was declared as brought dead. Later after legal formalities, the body was handed over to legal heirs of the deceased for last rites. Police said that they have arrested brother of the deceased identified as Deepak Kumar and shifted him to the juvenile home at RS Pura. |
