Barnoti, July 16: The five day free Basic shooting course was inaugurated at the KPS Shooting Club by the Chairman, Er. Nirmaljit Singh AMN.
The KPS Shooting Range boasts of the state of art infrastructure and facilities. It has the latest air rifles and pistols with a range of ten metres. More than fifty shooting enthusiasists from Kathua, Samba and Jammu districts joined the course under the guidance of Sandeep Singh, national coach of the Indian Shooting Team, assisted by Vishal Sharma.
Speaking on this occasion, the Chairman said that KPS Shooting Range offers the best facility for aspiring shooting shooters who wish to compete at the state, national and international levels. He said that the Free Basic Shooting Course is run from 16th July, 2018 to 20.07.2018 and all boys and girls can avail themselves of the opportunity.
The KPS Shooting Club is affiliated to the J&K Rifle Association. The Club hopes to host district and state level competitions in near future. |
