Jammu, July 16: J&K Anti corruption Forum, Jammu today said that some so-called organisations are blacking mailing people in state. Addressing a press conference, here today President, JKACF Mohd Ayub Gujjar said that various organizations are functioning in J&K State in the name of Gujjar and nomads of J&K are black mailers, who use the Gujjars for their mean ends especially the leaders are using the Gujjars/Nomads for Vote-Bank but on grounds Gujjars, Bakerwals and Nomads are being deprived of their right entitled to them under the constitution of J&K and that of country.
The leader that Gujjar/Bakerwals and other likewise community be provided with service reservation under category on the same analogy as that of scheduled caste and scheduled tribes, he further added that National Tribal Forest Right Act., 2006, is implemented within the country but the Gujjar, Bakerwals and Nomads are being deprived of the same. He demanded that the National Tribal Forest Right Act., 2006 be implemented in the State of Jammu and Kashmir. In addition to this under the Act. The Nomads be given 2 to 3 kanals of land so that they can settle themselves within the state and their of shoot can receive proper education, health care for their upliftment.
