SSATF urges Governor to announce 7 Pay Commission

Jammu, July 23: The executive body of the ALL J&K SSA Teachers Forum, Jammu held today an important meeting under the Chairmanship of Younis Rahi State President of the Forum. Younis Rahi appealed to Governor of J&K State NN Vohra to announce 7th pay commission in favour of more than 45000 (forty five thousands) SSA Teachers across the State. Earlier 6th Pay Commission were given to these teachers, so there is no reason for the delaying of 7th Pay Commission in favour SSA Teachers.
PDP and BJP Government deceived the thousands of SSA teachers and only hollow assurance were given by them to teacher community said, "Rashpaul Singh Choudhary" District President of the forum and strongly criticize the previous Govt. State Gen. Secy. of the Forum Joginder Digra urged the Governor of the State to announce 7th Pay Commission in one go. So that teacher community may not suffer much more. Already this community has got frustrated due to non implementation of 7th pay commission.
SSA teachers are without salary from two months and DA arrears also still pending form 2014.Now the SSA teachers have high hope from Governor of J&K State to early sort out these issues. The active presence of the meeting are Surjit Bhagat,Surinder Kaith, Sikander Lal,Neetu Rajput,and many district and zonal presidents of the forum.
