Srinagar, July 23: Reacting to Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray’s statement that cows are safer than women in the country, former J&K chief minister Omar Abdullah said one know the world has been turned upside down when the Shiv Sena starts sounding more reasonable than the BJP.
“You know the world has been turned upside down when the Shiv Sena starts sounding more reasonable than the BJP,” Mr Abdullah, who is the vice president of National Conference (NC), tweeted. Hitting out at its ally the BJP, the Shiv Sena chief on Monday said in the name of protecting the cow, India had become the most unsafe country for women. “Don't accept the idea of Hindutva that is being adhered to i n the country.
