Masood Cricket Club enters into final

DODA, July 23: Defeating its rival team Wadiye Kashmir by 87 runs, Masood Cricket Club (MCC) Bhaderwah team entered into final of the ongoing All India 14th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2018, which is being played here at Sports Stadium Doda. The tournament is being organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by 10 Rashtriya Rifles Unit Doda and J&K Bank.
Batting first after winning the toss, MCC Bhaderwah scored a huge total of 193 runs in the stipulated 20 overs for the loss of 9 wickets. Mohsin Najar played a magnificent inning of 48 runs, while Nikhil Khatri dded 47 runs to the total. For Wadiye Kashmir, Sameer was the main bowler who took 3 wickets, while Waris and Asrar shared 2 wickets each.
Wadiye Kashmir in reply could not achieve the target but fought back and made 106 runs in 17.2 overs for the lost of all their wickets. Sameer was the top scorer with 21 runs while Umar Nabi contributed 19 runs to the total. For MCC Bhaderwah, Abid Mushtaq scalped 3 wickets while Rakesh Parihar also took 03 wickets.
For his best performance with bat, Mohsin Najar of Masood Cricket Club Bhaderwah was adjudged as man of the match who was given prize by BDO Thathri. The match was officiated by Ifroz Rather and Yousuf Raza as Umpires while Sandeep Kaushik was the Scorer.
