Shiksha Niketan school organizes symposium

JAMMU, July 23: Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School organised Symposium of Class 10 on the eve of Birth Anniversary of freedom fighter 'Chandra Shekhar Azad' popularly known as 'Azad'.
Students of Class X actively participated in the symposium. Two students from each section represent their respective class. The students participated the activity with great enthusiasm. The judging Criteria were based on content, pronunciation, expression, confidence and time limit. Students speak about the life history of Chandra Shekhar Azad and his work and grewat deeds as freedom fighter and activist. His slogan to inspire the Indians for freedom was:
"Dushman ki Goliyon ka hum Samna Krenge, Azad hee rahein hain, Azad hee Rahenge". A great tribute was paid to the freedom fighter through symposium from students of Class- 'X'Students of Class X'E', Nidhika Billoria secured Ist Position. Sukhpreet Kour student of X 'I' and Sheetal Kour student of X 'E' secured 2nd Position and Amanpreet Kour student of X 'B' secured 3rd Position. The activity was successful with Cooperation of Bandhana Manhas (Co- ordinator, Class- X). Nirmal Sharma Incharge SNS Jeevan Nagar concluded the program with address to all students to participate more in activities held by the School. Rameshwar Mengi, Principal appreciated the efforts done by the students.
