| Rates of sacrificing animals unaffordable for poor: YASHN | | |  Early Times Report
POONCH, 19 Aug: Today activists of YASHN have lodged protest against the high rates of sacrificing animals which were being sold by the people on the eve of Upcoming Eid-ul-Zuha.
Imtiaz salaria today said that the district administration has done meeting regarding preparation of Eid and said that the rates must be genuine. Salaria said that the rates were so high that the poor people think many a times before buying the animal.
He also said that the concerning department is also in slumber as there is no representative of any department like sheep husbandry or administration. He said if DC Poonch have taken tan initiative he must accomplish it otherwise there is no value of meeting. He demanded to DC and SSP Poonch must act on those which were selling the sacrificing animals at very high rates. |
