Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 19: The workers of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena under the leadership of President Ashok Gupta also took out a protest in Jammu city against Congress leader and former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu for his decision to visit Pakistan to attend the oath-taking ceremony of Imran Khan as Pakistan's Prime Minister. Navjot Singh was invited by his former fellow cricketer Imran Khan to the ceremony. "How could he attend Imran Khan's oath-taking ceremony and hug Pakistan's Army Chief being Punjab's cabinet minister when India is mourning the death of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee". Gupta stated that Punjab CM should drop Sidhu from his cabinet and Sidhu should get a position in the Pakistan cabinet as for his love for the Pakistan army chief. Gupta demanded that Sidhu should be send to Pakistan for his love for the new PM and Army Chief. The party workers who were present at the time for protest were Lal Lingh, Gurdas, Bodh Raj, Tarsem, Vijay, Sham, Ajay, Dinesh, Bantu, Kalu, Ramesh and various others were present. |
