Poonch, Aug 19: Market checking by the concerned authorities seems to be mere an eye wash as the rates of essential commodities vary from one shop to another alleged the gullible public of Mendhar town while talking to Early Times.
They said the rates of daily consumable items vary from one shop to another shop and the food safety deparatment has failed to regulate the market.
Locals alleged that on the one hand the goods being sold in Mendhar market were sub standard and on the other hand rates are very high which vary from shop to shop.
The SDM has been accused of taking a lienent view towards the black marketters and traders who was indulge in over charging of essential commodities as result general public has to pay the price very darely.
A local social activist has appealed the district authorities to constitute a team of officals to look into the malpractices of traders. |
