Jammu, Aug 19: Teachers Coordination Committee today organized protest in favour of implementation of 7th Pay Commission.
A large numbers of teachers assembled at press club Jammu and staged a massive protest demonstration under the leadership of Hari Singh, Satish Duna, Younis Rahi, Maheshwar Prasad, Amaranth Thakur, Mrignayani Slathia and Jasmeet Singh Presidents/Leaders of J&K United School Teachers Association, JK Govt. Teachers Forum. JKSSA Teacher Forum, all Jammu Kashmir Ladhak Federation School Education Employees Co-ordination Committee, All teachers association J&K and Teachers welfare Association respectively to focus on their demands.
They demanded early implementation of seventh pay commission without any further delay in favour of teachers /masters and headmasters working under SSA /RMSA Release regular salary of teachers / masters and headmasters working under SSA/RIVISA by delinking it from central funds and linking with state budget. They also demanded transfer suitably masters lecturers and headmasters who have completed their tenures in far flung areas. |
