Jammu, Aug 19: A batch of 30 Traffic police personnel who had undergone three days First-Aid training, were awarded the Provisional Certificates (of having successfully completed the training) by Avinash Rai Khanna, National Vice-Chairman of the IRCS, New Delhi. The function was attended by Joginder Singh, SSP(T) Jammu, Shakti Pathak, SSP(T) NH, Mushtaq Choudhary, SP(T) Rural, Vikram Gujral, Surinder Mahajan, S.C. Bali, Dr. Ranbhushan Singh, Dr. Rajinder Thappa, Committee Members & R. Vijay Mangotra, Social activist. In his address Khanna emphasized on the very importance of the First-Aid training and quoted personal as well as experiences of others who being a trained First-aider could be helpful in saving precious lives. The training was imparted by Dr.T.R.Raina, Ex Prof.& HOD, Deptt. Of Blood Transfusion, GMCH, Dr. Ranbhushan Singh, Sr. Anesthetic and Disaster Management Preparedness Expert, Dr.Vikrant Sharma, Senior Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Rajinder Thappa, Sr. Consultant, Dr. Samriti, BLS & Master Trainer, Smt. Kanchan Devi, Sup.Pharmacist and Miss Vironica Marwah, Field Officer. |
