Missing DPS Srinagar Student Found in Jammu

Srinagar, Aug 19: A teenage student of Delhi Public School who had gone missing from Srinagar on Saturday has been traced to Jammu.
Azhar Abbas Mirza, son of Akeel Hussain of Hawal, a 10th standard student of DPS Srinagar had left home in anger after parents scolded him for over use of mobile phone. He did not return in the night prompting family to begin frantic searches. They and even lodged a missing report with the police.
The searches continued through the day and messages with his photo were flashed on social media.
Boy meanwhile managed to reach Jammu where he visited 'SOS Children Village', an NGO on Sunday afternoon seeking details about another boy he said was lodged there, sources at the NGO said.
"He gave his name as Ahmad and told us that he was looking for Hashim as both were orphans and want to live together", an officer there who talked to Azhar, said. "I grew suspicious after questining him but was not aware about the missing report", he said. "It was only after the boy had left that I saw his photo on social media and immediately informed Police", the officer told Kashmir Observer.
Police alerted railway Police and Police at bus stands. However they later located him and informed family in Srinagar.
According to reports family members have rushed to Jammu to bring back their annoyed child.
