Private Schools play forgery, alleges Parents' Association | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Aug 29: All Parents Association today alleged that Private Schools have been charging unnecessary fee from the students on the name of various funds. Karan Singh, President of the association informed Early Times that the association had a meeting with Deputy Commissioner Kathua few days back and lodged a complaint against the unnecessary fees charged from the students by the private schools. He added that if the private schools continue to harass parents, they would sharpen their struggle further. A mother of a D.S Heritage school student said, it has been quite difficult for the parents to arrange extra fees on the name of readmission building funds, Library fees, Vacation fees of their children due to increasing inflation. The parents demand from the Governor to keep a check on the private schools that have been charging unnecessary fee from the school students. Later on, a delegation of the parents also met With D.C Kathua Rohit Khajuria and demanded legal Action against School Authority. When Early Times contact the chairman of D.S Heritage School Kathua he denied the charges that the school has been charging any unnecessary funds from the students. Some people have been playing dirty politics and trying to pressurize the school. |
