DPS Nagbani holds Maths Aptitude Test | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 30: With a view to remove the fear of Maths from students' minds, DPS Nagbani held Maths Aptitude Test for the students of IV to IX std in the school. Aptitude Test assesses a person's core capability of common skills such as numerical, verbal and diagrammatical reasoning. Maths Aptitude Test helps to sharpen the mathematical skills because Maths is a vast subject, hence it requires specific knowledge. The aim of this competition was to identify and promote the Mathematical abilities in the students. The competition conducted requires two stages. Stage-I was where every student from class IV to IX std. was tested for analytical and logical reasoning in a written test. In Stage-II, the selected students on the basis of percentage will be asked questions covering intuitive perception, quantitative aptitude, length, time, and memory and number crossword in the form of quiz. To boost the morale of the students, the Principal of the school RK Verma said that there is no doubt that education is the secret key to human success and roots of education lie in competitions. So, competitive exams are very important for the students to compete in this competitive world today. |
