Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 30: Authorities of a government school in Reasi district have allegedly refused to enrol at least 20 students in Class 11th. "For want of bribe," the administration of Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Bharakh in Tehsil Pouni of Reasi "refused to enrol us," said one of the aggrieved students wishing not to be named. He said that for last more than one week the students are roaming in school premises with a hope that they will be enrolled in Class 11th "but no one is paying heed to us." "We went to Kunal Bali Sir, incharge admission, many a time but he is just buying the time", said the student. "We also requested Principal of School, Suraj Prakash, who asked us to meet Kunal Sir, but to no avail", the student said, alleging that the school authorities were demanding bribe. "They want us to pay some Chai-Pani. We are all from poor families, we are not able to pay admission fee, how can pay them bribe for admission", said another student. The students threatened to launch an agitation if they will not get enrolled by Friday afternoon. "We will make last effort on Friday, if they refuse to consider our case, we will block Shiv Khori road", they said. When contacted, Director School Education Jammu, Rakesh Kumar Srangal said that nobody is allowed play with future of students. "I have directed Chief Education Officer Reasi to look into the issue.
