| JDF sends medical, aid to Kerala | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 30: In response to the call given by the executive of Jammu Doctors Forum (JDF) Jammu, the members and other persons belonging to medical fraternity sent a lot of medical aids in form of drugs, IV sets and other life saving necessary equipment have been donated. According to press statement issued here, the majority of the doctors starting from the veterans took the initiative to forge ahead others in donating drugs and disposables for the Kerala flood victims and many others will follow suit. Sending medical aid would be a continuous process. Forum again appeals to the medical fraternity to come forward for this noble cause. JDF President Dr Satya Dev Gupta and General Secretary Dr Dushyant Choudhary have contacted the concerned relief agencies in Kerala and have couriered the relief package to them. This is a small effort made by JDF to help the country men devastated by the calamity in Kerala. We will continue such efforts as and when required in future too. |
