9/2/2018 10:44:25 PM

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 31: A Police Post (PP) Incharge posted in Jammu-Kathua-Samba Range recently threw a lavish party for his seniors in a luxurious hotel of the city.
Sources informed Early Times that the celebrations went on past midnight. The senior officers, who attended the party openly danced on the tunes of foot tapping songs. "The Police Post Incharge organized the party to influence his seniors with his extravagant lifestyle.
His (PP Incharge) district police chief as well as Superintendent of Police (SP), Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) and Station House Officers (SHOs) attended the party," said sources. Sources said that the said PP Incharge was transferred to another Range but using his influence he remained stationed at the place of posting from where he was transferred for a very long period of time. He left the Police Post after nearly six months following pressure mounted on him from the top brass of the department. "The PP Incharge while departing arranged a sort of farewell for himself in one of the plush hotels of the city.
Almost all senior officers from the erstwhile district where he was posted attended the party to bid adieu to their junior," said sources. Sources said that the after the transfer of the PP Incharge from the district several attempts were made to relieve him but the officer made it a point to halt the marching orders using his clout in the department. However, the PP Incharge was finally asked to leave the post recently and this time around he didn't defy the order and preferred to depart.
