| Head constable found dead on duty | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 2: A Head Constable of Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) posted as guard with a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) was found dead under mysterious circumstances at the residence of DySP at Sainik Colony. The deceased has been identified as Head Constable Balwant Raj (50) son of Tharu Ram resident of Ratnuchak Police sources said that Balwant was posted as guard in the residence of DySP Shashi Thakur and was found unconscious condition at her residence at Sainik Colony.
After getting the information, police party from Sainik Colony reached the spot and shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors. Later, the body was shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for autopsy and other legal formalities.
Police quoting the doctors stated that the deceased might be died owing to cardiac arrest. |
