Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 6: Taking cognizance of the news report published in September 4 edition of Early Times titled Agri deptt's LEO in Lakhanpur at agents' mercy, Agent doing all official work, officials missing", Director Agriculture Production Department, HK Rajdhan, has constituted a committee to enquire into the matter.
The three-member committee is headed by Chief Agriculture Officer (CAO) Kathua, Arun Kumar Gupta, while two other mem ers are District Agriculture officer Kathua, Sanjeev Rai Gupta, and Assistant Director of Law Enforcement wing, SK Chibber.
The committee has been asked to enquire the matter and submit its report within a week.
Pertinently, Early Times in its September 4 edition had carried photograph of an agent who was found doing work in the Law Enforcement Office of Agriculture department at Lakhanpur while the officers deputed at the office were found missing. |
