Jammu, Sept 20: To promote and bring out the creativity and talent of Tiny Toddlers, Delhi Public School, Jammu organized Show N Tell Competition for the students of class Prep. The children participated actively in the competition and they threw light on various topics such as "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan", "Importance of Trees", "Traffic lights & Rules", "Importance of Outdoor Activities", "Excess use of Smartphones", "Child Labour", "Mother", "Victim of Terror", "Mother Earth", "Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam" & "Our School", etc. and shared their views regarding these topics. The programme was adjudged by Ritu Vir, school faculty. The first place went to Mohisha Gupta (Prep-B) & Anumodhan Bargotra (Prep-A). Second place was bagged by Lakshita Gupta (Prep-B) & Amaya Vaid (Prep-E) while Hayya Khan (Prep-B) & Myra Jain (Prep-E) stood third. Consolation prizes were also received by Kaira Kotroo (Prep-A) & Aradhya Sharma (Prep-B). Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra appreciated the participants and motivated them to keep on giving their best in co-curricular activities. Headmistress, Meenu Gupta lauded the talent of the students and appreciated the efforts of teachers and parents for preparing the kids for the competition. Also present on the occasion was Preeti Abrol, Coordinator, Pre-Primary Wing. |
