| GDC Dharmari organizes symposium on Drug Abuse | | | Early Times Report
JAMMu, Sept 20: Government Degree College Dharmari organized a symposium on Drug Abuse to bring awareness about this growing menace.
Dr Tilak Raj Sharma Principal of the college was the chief guest on this occasion. While interacting with the participants he said that the menace of Drug Abuse is a serious challenges which if not tackled will bring chaos in the society. It is devastating to lose the young generation to this Evil.
There were some 25 participants who expressed their ideas and threw light on the various facets of Drug abuse. The Participants highlighted the economic and social effects of Drug abuse. Drug Addiction is a lose to the society as well as the country which is irrepaiarable. The Participants believe that we have tried enough legal ways to counter this menace but the best way is to enlighten people regarding its ill effects. Asst Prof Khalid Sajad Bohra presided over the proceedings and local people and staff members were present on the occasion. |
