| GDC Majalta organizes events on Dowry System, Female foeticide | | |  Early Times Report
Majalta, Sept 20: GDC Majalta has organised an event in the college on two different themes "Dowry System" and "Female foeticide" just to aware the students and others about these two social evils which are responsible for poor women empowerment.
The programme was started with the encouraging remarks given by the Prof. Kusam Gupta principal of the college followed by the faculty members of the college especially Prof. C L Shivgotra and Prof. Ambica Gupta.
About 20 students of the college participated in the event and their performance was adjudged by the team of judges Dr. Asha Singh , Prof. Upma , Dr. Ramesh Kumar and Dr. Mool Raj. Students were given certificates on the basis of their positions as well as to the participants. Others staff members Prof Vaishali, Prof Imran , Prof Jai Kundal have also participated in the event.
Finally vote of thanks along with concluding remarks were given by the Prof.C L Shivgotra and programme ended with recitation of National Anthem. |
