IGNOU Induction Programme organised District Hospital | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Sept 20: Induction programme for freshly enrolled learners of BPCCHN (Certificate Bridge Programme in Community Health) Programe was organized at the Programme Study Centre of IGNOU 12126P, Govt. District Hospital Udhampur today. This is a special programme launched by IGNOU sponsored by the State Governments with the support of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, as per an MoU between the said Ministry, Govt. of India and IGNOU. This is the consecutive fourth batch of Medical professionals being inducted for enhancement of their skills in their respective fields. The first batch of GNM staff nurses was inducted in January 2017 admission session. The present batch comprises of 48 Ayush Doctors working with NHM were inducted for July 2018 admission session. The aim of this programme is to enhance knowledge and skill of learners in providing community health care services, develop competencies in dealing with issues of public health, provide comprehensive primary care based on the set protocols appropriate to sub-centre level. After successful completion of this programme, the candidates are posted to the Sub Health Centres in various areas of the region for catering to better primary health care services for general masses. Dr. Vijay Raina, Deputy Medical Superintendent, who is also the Programme Incharge of this Centre, formally inducted the newly inducted Scholars. Dr. Sandeep Gupta, Assistant Regional Director and Rakesh Koul were the resource persons from RC Jammu and apprised the scholars about various academic activities to be carried out during the course of programme. |
