Kathua, Sept 20: Ex-servicemen Welfare Association District Kathua today expressed resentment on the killing of BSF Jawan whose mutilated body recovered after missing along fencing in Ramgarh sector of Samba.
Gian Singh Pathania Chairman of the Association led the protest while dozens of association members shouted slogan against Pakistan Rangers and appealed Prime Minister Narendra to take serious action against Pakistan to control on regular ceasefire Violation and Sniper attacks on BSF/ army Jawan.
Pertinently, BSF jawans recovered the badly mutilated body of the missing jawan along the fencing in Ramgarh sector of Samba on Tuesday evening. It is for the first time the Border Action Team (BAT) of the Pakistan Rangers targeted BSF jawans along the International Border in the recent years. While addressing media persons, Pathania informed that the eyes of BSF head constable, identified as Narendra Kumar, were gouged out, neck was partially slit and the whole body had marks of burn injuries, including on chest and arms. Three bullet injury marks were found on the body of the martyred jawan. He resented that these types of physical torture will not be tolerated and union government should take serious step against this killing. Manohar Singh President of the association expressed grief on the brutal death of Jawan and appealed to facilitate the family of martyr. He said that the BSF and Army men spend the precious time of their lives and their families deserve both moral and financial support from Defence ministry.
