Jammu, Oct 4: Secretary, Housing & Urban Development Department, J&K (H&UDD) Anil Gupta along with Arvind Kotwal, Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation conducted an extensive tour of Jammu city and inspected the ongoing Projects under Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT).
They also inspected developmental works of the Corporation being executed at different sites viz. Shivaji Park, Sarwal, Green Space, Jeevan Nagar, Pedestrian Walkway, Peerkho, Park at Gangyal, Car Parking at Panjtirthi etc. He gave on spot directions to the concerned officers for completion of ongoing developmental works in a time bound manner and also directed them to overcome the bottlenecks immediately.
The Secretary, H&UDD while visiting Ambphalla, Rehari Chungi and B.C. Road etc. gave on spot directions to the concerned officers for ensuring that construction mulba lying on the roads gets lifted as per standard procedure set by JMC. He also stressed for pruning of trees and installation of Bio-Digester at Maheshpura Vegetable/ Fruit Market.
He also took stock of different areas where JMC has installed street lights in various wards & main roads in different vicinities. He issued on spot directions to the concerned Officers to make all the street lights functional and undertake repairs, wherever required.
Among others Prabodh Sharma, Executive Engineer (C), Arun Gupta, Executive Engineer (T), Sanjay Bhagat, Executive Engineer (E), Dr. Saleem Khan, Health Officer, Talat Mehmood Khan, Chief Transport Officer, AEEs and Sanitation Officer etc. also accompanied during the visit. |
