| TSO remanded to police custody till Oct 15 | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 4: Additional Sessions Judge Anticorruption Jammu Tasleem Arif today granted police remand of Pranav Gandotra TSO who was arrested by the VOJ yesterday till October 15, 2018.
Court after perusal of the remand petition and the case diary observed that the Police Station VO Jammu has arrested the accused on 03-10-2018 from Jammu in its case FIR No. 21/ of 2018. The accused is shown involved in the commission of offences punishable under section 5 (1) and 5 (1) (d) read with section 5 (2) of the PC Act.
Court considers that since the investigation of the case is in progress, the accused would be required for custodial interrogation by the Vigilance Organization for which reason he requires to be remanded in police custody for a period of twelve days. |
