2-day Volleyball competition from Oct 15

JAMMU, Oct 7: The Volleyball Association of J&K is organizing Jammu District level Volleyball competition under "Khelo India" scheme for the year 2018-19. Invites entries of Volleyball club/educational institutions of Jammu district, under U-17 (Boys & Girls) teams for the year 2018-19. The entries should reach latest by 13/10/2018 evening.
The 2-day Jammu district Volleyball competition under "Khelo India" will be held at M.A. stadium Jammu on 15th & 16th oct, 2018. For the first time the Volleyball Association of J&K has been entrusted to conduct the district Volleyball competition in six indentified districts of the J&K State namely Baramulla, Anantnag, Pulwama, Rajouri, Poonch & Jammu to promote the concept of "Khelo India" among the sport-lovers especially Volleyball lovers by the Secretary J&K State sports council.
Special attractive cash prizes to the tune of Rs. 18000/- for the first position holder teams in both section (Boys & Girls) to the second position holder teams i.e Rs 12000/- each team and to the third position holder teams Rs 6000/- each team with tropies/Medals/certificates/refreshment and convenience charges shall be distributed on the concluding function of the competition. All identified six districts of J&K State have drawn up their district Volleyball competition plans accordingly. Players are eligible to participate in the competition born on or after 01-01-2002 on production of their Date of Birth certificate in original.
