JAMMU, Oct 7: All India Mahajan Conference held here today at Press Club of Jammu under the presidentship of Sham Lai Langer.
The delegates from all over India were present in the conference.
Some of the important decisions taken unanimously by the conference including scholarship to widows withheld for the last two years will be released from the coming new year after inviting applications, the Head Office of Shiromani Sabha at Malviya Nagar, New Delhi will be shifted temporarily to Mahajan Bhawan Haridwar for carrying out necessary repairs in the HO Building at Delhi, official newspaper of Shiromani Sabha, "New Mahajan Samachar" will be published from Mahajan Bhawan Haridwar after registration there.
Besides, a five members committee headed by Sh. Ramesh Gupta Ex-General Secretary has been formed to suggest amendments to the Constitution of the Sabha within 6 months, which will be considered by a special conference which will be called for by the president. |
