| Unpunctual teachers affect educational activities | | |

RajOuri, Oct 10: Educational activities at Government Middle School Nahoti in Sunderbani here are affected as the staff is unpunctual, the locals have complained. The locals said three of the five teachers posted at school with some 60 students on rolls have been coming late to the school whereas they leave early. The locals, including parents of schoolchildren said "They (three teachers) arrive at 1:00 AM and leave at 2:00 PM. We informed the CEO and ZEO but no action was taken." The parents said with teachers giving less time towards the school, the educational activities were badly affected. When contacted the concerned Head Master downplayed the matter saying "All are local teachers, I cannot pressurize them." The concerned Zonal Education Officer also tried to downplay the matter. Meanwhile the locals have appealed Governor SP Malik to get the matter looked into. |
