| Measles, Rubella vaccination campaign held Shiksha Niketan | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 9: The Directorate of Family Welfare, MCH and Immunization, J&K started MR (Measles And Rubella) Campaign Jammu and Kashmir, Measles And Rubella vaccination campaign was also organised in Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School Jeevan Nagar Jammu.
Measles And Rubella vaccine which provides protection from Measles And Rubella. It is the great effort introduced nationwide through campaign in schools. Shiksha Niketan Jeevan Nagar family (the faculty and the students) supported the whole teanm of doctors for this campaign. Principal Rameshwar Mengi along with the incharges welcomed one and all and a day before this vaccination camp the knowledge of Measles And Rubella was given to the students .Worthy principal of the school also gave the students knowledge to be Immunized to knock out the diseases.
The school team provided the proper infrastructure/space and rooms to the medical team to accomplish this programme initiated by the Govt. to save on children from these deadly vaccine preventable. Nearly 1719 students of the school from Nursery to 10th were vaccinated by the team of experienced Doctors and highly skilled health workers. The students were vaccinated in a very hygienic way under the supervision of their teachers and other faculty persons.
At last, the whole health Programme was a great success. It is really an appreciable work of the Govt. to curve the upcoming generation from Measles And Rubella disease and the co-operation of the schools to the noble cause will definitely take it ahead with success. |
