Reasi, Oct 17: A colourful cultural programme was organized in which a colourful cultural programme was displayed by the students.
During the Navratra festival the teams of 35 different govt and private institutions of district Reasi participated. The Navratra festival was organised in the premises of Govt Higher Secondary School Katra w.e.f 10/10/2018 to 17/10/2018.
Ajay Nanda, MLA Reasi was the Chief Guest and Simrandeep Singh, IAS, Chief Executive Officer, SMVDSB Katra was the guest of Honour in the valedictory function.
The chief guest gave away prizes to the winners of various competition such as painting, symposium, cultural items, fancy dress, Rangoli etc in both the Junior & senior category.
Earlier, Rajesh Verma, Principal, Govt HSS Katra alongwith the staff members of the School welcomed the dignitaries, Special Invitees and honoured them by presenting the Pitambars, Chunis, Pagdis.
The special invitees of the programme were SK Attri, Dy Director Tourism(Publicity), Vivek Shekhar Sharma, DySP, SDPO Katra, Dr Umesh Shan Asst Director Tourism Sunil Sharma, Tehsildar Katra & Dr Gopal Dutt, BMO Katra, Rakesh Wazir, President Hotel Association Katra, All members of School Management Development Committee, Judges of Regional Outreach Bureau, Principals, ZEO Reasi, Headmasters,
Usha Dogra, Arti Devi, Sunita Kumari, Bandana Dogra, Vishali Dubey comparing the whole festival and received the Momentos from the Chief Guest.
The Chief Guests also presented the momentos to the media persons who were tirelessly worked day and night to make this festival a grand success. |
