Mass Contact Programme of BADF concludes
11/3/2018 10:17:10 PM
Early Times Report
Rajouri, Nov 3: Three days mass contact program of Border Area Development Forum (BADF) lead by its Chairman to inquire about the developmental condition of Panchayats falling under border belt concluded today.
During the tour Tazeem Dar visited three borders Panchayats Androoth, Bagla and Nadyal on foot.
Dar while sharing the details of his mass tour claimed that BADP funds meant for overall development of Panchayats and it's inhabitants were utilized by politicians in nexus with the bureaucrats thus causing damage to the interests of Border Areas. Dar demanded that inquiry should be initiated to unearth the scam in which BADP funds are used by people at helm of affairs from last ten years.
He alleged that "Commission system in the area is creating a hurdle in the developmental process of rural areas which cause loss of state exchequer."
Dar further said that "Health Care, Road connectivity and Educational system of the area is in worse condition putting the lives and future of coming generations at stake".
While referring to condition of PHC's Androoth and Nadyala, Dar said that "both the PHC's are in shambles because of lack of health staff and infrastructure". While accusing District Administration responsible for the sufferings of people Dar said that "Officers of District Administration are confined to easily accessible areas where they reach through Air Conditioned vehicles and organize public redressel camps at areas in comfort zones.
"No redressel camp has been organized by District Administration Rajouri in border areas which is an injustice with the inhabitants" Dar said
He further added that "Maximum teachers are deployed for election which makes students suffer miserably and power infrastructure along border areas is crippled and is in dire need of being upgraded.
