| PNBMT confers amateur journalists awards to Gupta, Muju | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 4: Prem Nath Bhat Memorial Trust (PNBMT) organized a function today to confer Prem Nath Bhat Memorial Amateur Journalist Award on two amateur journalists of the state.
The Chief Guest on the occasion was B B Vyas, Advisor to the Governor and the programme was chaired by D C Raina, Advocate General. The programme started with the traditional lighting of the lamps and the felicitation of the guests.
The award was presented to Brig (Retd) Anil Gupta and Prof G K Muju.
The awards committee panel had selected the two awardees for their consistent contribution to the cause of good and positive journalism in the state.
The awardees were presented a shawl and a memento and also the citation that was read on the occasion. The citation of Brig (Retd)Anil Gupta was read by the noted social activist and Secretary of the trust Sundri Lal Koul and the citation of G K Muju was read by A K Raina, Retd Director School Education.
Chief Guest Advisor B.B. while speaking on the occasion lauded the role of Pt Prem Nath Bhat as a social reformer who was always just and magnanimous for everyone in the society. He also praised PNBMT for its activities and for the institution of amateur journalist awards. |
