Jammu, Nov 12: DPS Nagbani organized show and tell competition for the students of classes first and second.
Students showed objects of their choice and spoke on them. Their topics included family tree, treasure box, healthy and unhealthy food, favourite toy or cartoon character, traffic lights and photographs of their parents and so on.
The aim of the competition was to enhance the confidence level of the students by helping them to focus their visual ability and using their imagination to translate their thoughts into words.
The coordinator of the school Aarti Gupta appreciated and applauded the efforts put in by the students and said early identification of the things helps to create the cognitive link between visual clues and words which is an important part of child's development. |
