| Kishtwar youths allege backdoor appointments in CVPP | | |

Kishtwar, Nov 17: Youths of District Kishtwar criticized the management of Chenab Valley Power Projects Pvt limited (CVPP) for making large-scale backdoor appointments from outside the state.
In a press statement issued Joginder Bhandari said that more than 150 youths from outside the state have been appointed through back door in CVPP at the cost of deserving youths of District Kishtwar which has caused a brewing resentment among the youths of the district.
He said that the CVPP is going to execute three major hydroelectric projects that too falling in District Kishtwar but the CVPP is making appointments from outside the state who happens to be the kith and kins of some higher officers of NHPC or some influential persons of JKSPDC which needs to be enquired.
He has also said that the management of AFCONS who have been entrusted with the responsibility to execute the work of powerhouse of Pakal Dul HEP is also providing employment to non-locals and the locals have been appointed on third party roll (Labour supply). |
