Jammu, Nov 17: A delegation of Kashmiri Pandit Sabha today called on BB Vyas Advisor to Governor, to solicit his attention towards pressing demands of the displaced K P community.
Khosa appealed the government to immediately release the appointment orders of over 400 selected displaced youths, who are waiting for the orders for last 6 months.
The delegation was assured by worthy adviser that due to the petition in court there has been delay and now court will be requested to allow the release of selection list as it has no bearing on petition filed. Khosa also called the attention of government towards the encroachments of religious and private properties by government bodies and mafia.
The President also impressed upon the Advisor that the all important issues of return and rehabilitation in the valley should not be allowed to remain on the backburner any further.
The modality should be worked out in consultation with the community after developing a consensus on the issue. The PM package also needs to be remodeled to make it practicable.
