Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 17: Protesting against the illegal settlement of Rohingyas in Jammu and alleged possession of legal documents by them, the Bajrang Dal's local unit staged a massive demonstration here today. The protesting Bajrang Dal activists while shouting slogans demanded deportation of Rohingyas from Jammu. Shouting anti-government slogans, the activists alleged that the Rohingyas were managing Aadhar cards, voter cards, school certificates and passports. The protesters said that there are reports that by paying a small amount of Rs 1,000, they are getting these documents in J&K and if so, whosoever are providing them these papers, needed to be probed. "It seems that the issue of deporting Rohingyas has been put to the back burner once more as the union government has failed to initiate serious efforts for the same," Rakesh Bajrangi, president of Bajrang Dal's state unit said. The Bajrang Dal activists said that both Central and J&K Governments are responsible for their illegal settlement. |
