They also discussed ways and means for raising donations for ensuring completion of construction of Community Hall, Dharamshall and a big hall for ensuring religious preaching and managing training in different vocational/professional courses to the deserving and needy students of Migrants. Addressing gathering Shadi Lal Pandita appealed the general masses for donating for the cause of the community. He said that presently few minibuses are plying from Indira Chowk to Jagti which does not cater to the needs of the vast population of this township with the result the masses have to suffer a lot in general and the students and women in particular. He appealed Governor of Jammu and Kashmir for intervening into the matter by taking up the matter with concerned authority for sanctioning plying of SRTC buses from Jammu to Jagti as well as according to permission to at least 5 Private buses for plying from Jammu to Jagti. |
