| JKNPP appeals for construction of multistory parking outside Bawe Bali Mata Temple | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 8: Neeraj Gupta Zonal President JKNPP along with supporters and party workers held protest at Transport Yard Narwal Jammu and demanded construction of multistory Parking outside the Bawe Bali Mata Temple. Addressing gathering, he said that the BJP-PDP government had not taking any appropriate steps to promote the temples and other tourist spots of Jammu. Previous Govt. had failed to developed the tourist spots of the Jammu city especially temple places which results in the failure of tourism industry in the Jammu. It also affects the image of Jammu which is known as the city of temples. He said that the Historical Bawe Mali Mata Temple and Mahamaya Temple was developed by Jagmohan Ex. Governor of the state during his tenure. At present the parking space is not sufficient because there is no sufficient provision of parking the barrier, due to which the devotees compelled to go back to their houses without performing the pooja and darshan of Bawe Wali Mata. No further development is made in or around the Temple and also market or parking place is developed around the temple. Even the link road which connects the Temples with the highway is very narrow and not in good condition. He said that as this is a place of Historical importance its security should be ensured by proper arrangement of security. |
